With 4,896 meters (16,050 ft) above sea level, Mount Vinson is the highest summit in Antarctica. This mountain, which lies within the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains, is one of the “Seven Summits”, a climbing circuit that includes the highest summits of each continent.
