This program is for people who want to explore the Himalayas, the highest range in the world, with ten of the fourteen peaks rising over 8,000 meters (26,246 ft) in the whole planet. As a classic and mystic event, we will go hiking to Mt. Everest Base Camp, located 5,330 meters (17,486 ft) above sea level, into the heart of Solukhumbu Valley, getting acquainted with the locals and their admirable culture and religion, and then climbing the 6,145 meters (20,160 ft) to the top of Lobuche Peak, one of the most popular mountaineering adventures in this area, from where we will be able to appreciate the best views of the mighty nearby mountains –Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Ama Dablam, to name a few.
Lobuche Peak is an excellent choice for people who want to conquer their first Himalayan peak. This mountain is located in Solukhumbu Valley, near Mt. Everest Base Camp. Ascent to this peak poses a very rewarding challenge, as the PD+ (a little difficult) route used to reach the summit unfolds among glacier moraines, an ice wall that can only be climbed using fixed ropes and, last but not least, a topmost ridge from where the vastness of the region can be perfectly appreciated. From its summit, you can catch the best views of Mt. Everest (8,848 meters/29,029 ft), Mt. Lhotse (8,516 meters/27,939 ft), Mt. Nuptse (7,879 meters/25,849 ft) and the sacred Ama Dablam.
