  • The name of this volcano, which is a landmark in the Northern area of the Patagonia and reaches a height of 3,776 meters (12,388 ft), comes from the Mapuche word “Lanin”, which means “Dead Rock”. Lanin Volcano is located in the Southwest region of Neuquen, within Lanin National Park.

  • Being the highest peak of the region, it offers unique and extraordinary landscapes, such as a view of the volcanoes Villarrica, Quetrupillan and Lonquimay, as well as of the lakes Tromen, Huechulafquen, and Paimun, to name a few.
