Located in the heart of the Baksan Valley, in Russia, in the middle of the Caucasus Range, this 5,642-meter (18,510-ft) peak is the highest in Europe. Mt. Elbrus poses a great challenge for adventurers who want to take the first steps into altitude ascents and start their quest to conquer the “Seven Summits”.
Seven Summits is a climbing circuit that includes the highest summits of each continent. Our ascent will be through the traditional route, starting our trip in Moscow and flying to Mineralnye Vody, spending the first acclimatization days in the little town of Cheget.
